Worship is about surrender. It’s about laying our lives at the feet of Jesus and declaring we belong to Him. It’s about complete devotion, unhindered praise and a passionate love for our Savior. It’s saying to our Father God; “I Am Yours”!

What is your purpose? Why are you here? Although we are all unique, we will always have one thing in common. We were all created to worship God. There has never been a moment, where God was not worthy of our praise. As we run the race, let us remember, we are here to honor Him, to love Him, to serve Him and to worship Him.

Life, at its very core, is about worship. It’s about living out what we were created to do. It’s about taking each moment of each day and laying it at the feet of Jesus as a sacrifice of praise. God has placed us here to worship.

Worship is about humility. It’s recognizing who we are in light of who God is. It’s about approaching His throne and laying our crowns at His feet. Surrendering our all in a passionate pursuit of His will, so in all things, He may be glorified.

As we gather around the world, we come to worship, to pray, to seek God and learn from His word. We come to fellowship, to connect, to serve and to do life together. But, more than anything, we come to glorify Jesus.

Do you ever think about what Jesus has done for you? Do you ever dwell on the richness of His glory, the work of the cross, the power of His resurrection or depth of His mercies. As we enter in to worship, let us remember why we worship our God.

As Holy Week begins, we cry out in worship to Jesus, our Savior, our King, our Messiah. Blessed is He who comes in the name of The Lord. Peace in Heaven and glory in the highest…Hosanna!
