The birth of our Savior changed everything. It introduced grace, changed our future and altered eternity. God reached down into the world and sent His Son to lead us back home. This Christmas we worship our Savior. We worship Our King. We worship our Messiah. This Christmas, we worship Jesus!

It’s Christmas time again. Time for snow angels, snow ball fights and a trip down a white powdered slope. Between the shopping, wrapping, eating and traveling, it’s a miracle we make it out of “The Holiday’s” alive. What if we stopped for a moment and focussed on the real miracle of Christmas? What if we slowed down long enough to worship the Savior, to honor the Messiah, to give glory to the only begotten Son of God? It’s time we realized this is more than a holiday…this is Jesus day…this is Christmas.

Pastors carry a burden few people will ever understand. They have answered a call that is incredibly difficult to live out. They have sacrificed much to make the Gospel known to many. Take a moment and honor your Pastor and take a moment to thank God for calling them to lead His church.

Every moment of every day, we are faced with a choice to worship God. In our circumstances, in our homes, in our work…in our lives. Worshiping God isn’t just a Sunday thing. It’s a daily, moment by moment, choice. If we can take life one moment at a time and offer those moments to God, we will finally see what it means to lead a life of worship.

We live in a time of great division. Lines have been drawn regarding race and gender. Those with less are looked down on by those with more. Many assume the worst about a person based on the color of their skin or the history of their heritage. But, God’s Word is clear about these divisions. It’s clear about discrimination and racism. Salvation through Jesus is available for people of every nation, tribe and tongue. Each one of us, no matter our history or heritage has been created in His image. This is what God sees…the question is; what do you see?

They grew up to fast didn’t they? After years of following in our footsteps, our prayer today is that they would follow in God’s. Yesterday they were just a child, but today they graduate. As they step out into the world, we pray for God to light their path and guard their hearts. Today, we are grateful for the privilege of raising God’s creation!

Sometimes it's hard to find the words to express just how grateful we are for our Mom. She's taught us, fed us, nurtured us and disciplined us all because she loves us. “Dear Mom” is an open letter of thanks to all the Mom's who ever got up in the middle of the night, sat through a baseball game, fed a hungry group of teenagers or hugged us when we had a broken heart. Sometimes the only thing left to say is thank you.

We are a broken and sinful people. People in need of a Savior. Jesus became that for us by allowing His body to be broken and His blood to be poured out on the cross. We serve a mighty and powerful God. A God who has done the miraculous throughout history. In the Bible, we see moment after moment where God intervenes in a miraculous way. What about now? Do we believe God can do the same things He did in the Bible? Is He still doing the miraculous today? Do you believe in miracles?

So much has changed since last Easter. The world has been shaken. Life has been disrupted and what we once called normal seems like it may never return. It’s easy to be discouraged when the ground beneath us feels like shifting sand. Now, more than ever, we need to stand on the truth of Easter. A day which changed our eternity and our world forever. Death was defeated, sin was conquered and death was rendered powerless. Today, may we remember the truth of Easter, the power of the resurrection and the promise of eternity. Yes, the world has been shaken, but the grave is still empty and Jesus…is still risen!

Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we are redeemed. We are restored and washed clean by His precious blood. We are no longer slaves to sin, for the old has gone and the new has come. Through Jesus, we are a new creation!

Life is full of distractions. Things which take our eyes off of Jesus, There are times when we are looking at Jesus, but our lives cause us to not see Him clearly. We need to throw off the thing which distract us and blur our vision. With Christ as our priority, life will finally come into focus.

Let's face it...without our Mom, we'd be a disaster! Our Mom has taught us, guided us and loved us through our lives. They've picked us up, held us close and shown us an example of Jesus. “Happy Mother's Day” is a bright, colorful and fun way to tell Mom's everywhere how grateful we are and how much we love them.

Worship is about expressing God’s worth. It’s about putting ourselves aside and dwelling only on Him. It’s about living our lives in a way which reflects how we truly feel about Him. In our worship, in our actions, in our lives, may we all be saying, in one voice, “I love You Lord!”

Lent is a time of reflection and repentance. A time to confess our sins and ask God to forgive, cleanse and help us. It’s a time to remember just how lost we are without Jesus and to dwell on all He endured to bring us grace.

Scripture is filled with Thanksgiving, Thankfulness is something we are all called to. Thankfulness for our families, our church, our work and every aspect of our lives.
